WHat actually Happens

How Does Toastmasters Work?

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. A typical Adelaide City meeting is made up of 15- 20 members who meet once a fortnight for an hour and a half.
Meetings start and finish on time. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice;

•Conducting Meetings as a Chairman or an MC

•Giving Impromptu speeches of 1 to 2 minutes duration

•Presenting prepared speeches based on projects in the Competent Communicator Manual:
