If you have an interest to develop your personal or professional public speaking skills within an enjoyable environmnet where, at a meeting, "...everyone talks" then the Adelaide City Toastmasters Club is for you! Come along as my guest and see how a meeting is run. There is no obligation and I will personally look after you."

 

Finish your day with a quick one and a half hour Toastmaster meeting! Each meeting is a mixture of prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and valuable workshops offering you the most efficient, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining great communication skills. By learning to effectively formulate and express your ideas, you open an entirely new world of possibilities. You will become more persuasive and confident when giving presentations and you will improve your one-on-one dealings with others. Every meeting finishes promptly at 7.15 pm. 

 

 

Don’t worry! Everyone in a Toastmasters club was once at the level you are now. The environment is friendly and supportive. The self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. And you will love the applause! The key to the Toastmaster program is constructive evaluation. Each time you give a prepared speech an evaluator will point out strengths and suggest improvements. At first you will be applauded for your effort - later you will be applauded for your skill!

 

 

 

It will be the right decision. Toastmasters has more than 245,000 members in 12,000 Clubs around the world. Adelaide City members are enthusiastic engineers, laywers, Doctorates, students, managers and more - you will be made welcome as a guest. There is no compulsion to join, come and see what we are about.

5.40 pm for a prompt 5.45 pm start

7.15 pm finish
